Mode · Player versus player

Classic PvP, and what we still have to check.

No kits, no gimmicks — just you against everyone else in the arena. Sharpen your aim and timing and prove you're the best.

We have not played this mode. The description above is the developer's; every heading below is what we still have to go and check.

What the mode is

The plain arena: no kits, no eggs, no objective except the other player. The developer sells it as no gimmicks, just you against everyone else in the arena.

What a first round feels like

This is the mode that shows whether the client's combat feels right. Reach, knockback and hit registration all show up here before they show up anywhere else.

What we will measure when we play it

Arena layout, whether gear is fixed or found, respawn rules, and whether there is a score or a timer.

How busy it is

At 30 Oct 2026, 20:36 on client v3.46.231 the lobby listed 225,000 players in Classic PvP, which made it number 7 of the eight modes that publish a count. That is a live figure read once, not an average, and it moves by the hour.

Where to read next

The measured page in the same family is Skywars, EggWars; all eighteen modes are on the mode table; the two finished matches are side by side on the comparison page.

The match brief above stays empty rather than guessed. The testing method explains why that is the rule here.
