The sentence above is the developer's own description of EggWars on miniblox.io. Everything after this note is what we saw ourselves.
How a match starts
Clicking EggWars opens a panel rather than dropping you into a queue. It shows the objective, a collapsed How to play section, and a single open choice under choose a mode: QUADS — teams of four, with a ×4 badge. The official page advertises solo, duos, trios and quads, so the picker appears to list only the variants with room in them right now.

Four teams, three counters
Once in, the right-hand scoreboard is the whole game state: four team names with a tick each, and three numbers — kills, final kills, eggs destroyed — with the map name underneath.

You start with a wooden sword and a stack of your team's wool, because wool is how you bridge between islands. Our match ran on Mushroom, a map of floating islands with a stone altar at spawn.
Dying does not end the match
With your egg intact, dying puts you back on your island — at 15.6 of 28 health, regenerating, not topped up. The death screen offers one button, 重生 (respawn), and clicking it returns you to the world. The chat line “CraftyPig_Jfju fell out of the world” confirms that falling off the map kills, and that everyone in the match is told about it.
The summary panel
When the match ends, 对局总结 (match summary) in the pause menu shows the receipt: duration, kills, final kills, eggs broken, total wins, XP and coins, each line paying out on its own.

- 3.0 minutes for a full quads match on our run
- 23 XP for the duration, 20 XP for one kill, 43 XP total
- 0 coins, because we were playing as a guest
A guest account keeps the XP but loses coins, stats and daily rewards — the panel says so directly, and it offers Create Account next to Next Game (N).
What we have not confirmed
Solo, duos and trios queues; what a generator costs; how many hits an egg takes; and whether final kills pay differently from ordinary ones. Those stay marked as unchecked until somebody plays them.
