Corrections are the reason this page exists. If a number here is wrong, or a mode has changed since the date on its page, we would rather fix it than defend it.

What to send

The page address, the sentence or figure you think is wrong, and — this is the part that makes a correction land — how you saw it. A screenshot with a visible timestamp beats a description. If you are the developer and something is misrepresented, say so and it gets fixed the same day.

What happens next

Confirmed corrections are applied to the page and noted on the method page with the date. Corrections that we cannot verify stay as open questions rather than being quietly dropped — that is the same rule that keeps fifteen mode pages marked official only.
